The Ministry is rolling this out for the year 2023-2024 so it’s important that we get the CUPE feedback included in the discussions and eventually have a valuable place in the requirements and supports moving forward for our Aboriginal Students and families.
We are asking our members to take a moment and read through the attached PDF, as well as the Guidelines posted by the Ministry of Education found here, and please send any comments to Ingrid at itrouwcupe716@gmail.com.
We are also looking for any indigenous members or representatives that would like to meet with the CUPE BC president and Indigenous cultural representatives to come forward. They can email Ingrid and she will forward their contacts on to the representatives.
